Gwen Potter (she/her) has spent the past fifteen years embracing a wide range of roles within the entertainment industry, bringing her childhood dreams to life in New York City. She has had the privilege of thriving not only as a dancer, choreographer, and educator, but also as a movement coach, curator, producer, director, and more.

With an extensive career in both the live stage and commercial dance industries, some of her credits include Adidas, Reebok, Smashbox Cosmetics, World of Dance, MTV, New York Fashion Week, and Good Morning America among others. As a choreographer, her work has been showcased at esteemed festivals and stages throughout the tri-state area. Gwen has served as a movement coach for Sony Records, directed a pre-professional youth tap dance company, and curated, produced, and starred in two full-length productions. Additionally, Gwen travels nationwide, teaching and setting choreography on students ranging from children to adults.

While performing, choreographing, and collaborating remain deep passions, Gwen finds her greatest fulfillment in teaching. A versatile educator specializing in Street Jazz, Hip Hop, and Tap Dance, she is currently on faculty at both Broadway Dance Center and Steps on Broadway. Many of her students have gone on to perform at Radio City, on Broadway, in national commercials, on prime-time television, and on tour with major recording artists. As a dedicated dance educator, Gwen strives to create a supportive and inclusive environment. She prides herself on inspiring dancers to develop their individual artistry, confidence, and passion for movement, while encouraging them to discover their own unique rhythm.
