Gwen, an Indianapolis native, realized her childhood dreams of dancing, choreographing, and teaching in NYC over the past fifteen years. She holds a BA in Dance from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, and has an impressive performance history. Her commercial credits include Adidas, Smashbox Cosmetics, MTV, New York Fashion Week, Good Morning America, and many more. Gwen's choreographic work has graced many  reputable city stages as well as premiered at several dance festivals in the tri-state area. She has enjoyed wearing many hats in the  the entertainment industry including working for Sony Records as a movement coach and has also curated, produced and performed in two full-length tap dance shows.

 

Although she loves performing, one of Gwen’s biggest passions is teaching. She prides herself of teaching multiple styles and is currently on faculty at Broadway Dance Center teaching tap dance. Her journey spans a variety of settings including, but not limited to, dance studios and convention classes, as well as colleges, public schools, and outreach programs. 

 

After leading a pre-professional tap dance program for many years at Broadway Dance Center's Children and Teens Program, Gwen now continues to travel nationwide teaching and setting choreography on students ranging from children to adults. You can find some of Gwen’s students on Broadway, in commercials, on prime time television, and touring with major recording artists around the world. As a dance educator, she strives to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment, fostering a love for dance and empowering individuals to discover their potential in life's unique rhythm.
